Sussex Council intends to read a summary of the proposed By-Law #350-26, A By-Law Respecting The Establishment Of The Sussex Fire Department And The Prevention And Extinguishment Of Fires.

The purpose of this by-law is to formally establish the Sussex Fire Department and set out provisions respecting fire prevention, protection, and the extinguishment of fires within Sussex.

The proposed by-law may be examined at the office of the Clerk between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Town Office, located at 524 Main Street, Sussex NB.

The purpose of this by-law is to amend Schedule “A”. This Schedule “A” provides for water and sanitary sewer rates and storm sewer and standard charges.
