Hearing of Objections – Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment, By-law 1350-21-05

Sussex intends to consider amending the Town of Sussex Zoning By-Law, By-law #1350-21.

The purpose of the proposed by-law amendment is to change the designation of a parcel of land bearing P.I.D. 30272892 from Medium Density Residential (“R3”) zone to a Multiple Family Residential (“R4”) zone permitting a High Density Residential Development with terms and conditions.

The proposed by-law amendment may be inspected by interested citizens during the hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at Town Office, 524 Main Street, Sussex and is also available for download at the links below.

Written objections to the proposed by-law amendment can be forwarded by email to, by mail to Town Clerk, Sussex, 524 Main Street, Sussex NB, E4E 3E4 or delivered in person to the undersigned at 524 Main Street. Objections will be received until 5:00 PM on Monday, April 22nd, 2024.

A hearing of objections will be held in the Council Chambers of Sussex located at 524 Main Street on Monday, April 22, 2024, at 6:30 PM, to hear these written objections. Any persons wishing to speak for or against these written objections may do so at that time.
