May 16, 2023 – Moncton – National Defence / Canadian Armed Forces

The 8th Canadian Hussars (Princess Louise’s) wish to inform the public that certain access points to the public walking trail behind the Sussex Armouries, 9 Leonard Dr, will be blocked off from Tuesday, May 17 until May 23rd.

Special Events Notice

We regret that we cannot celebrate our annual Canada Day and New Brunswick as we normally do because of the requirements of the Provincial Mandatory Order during this pandemic.

As the Province continues to make progress and reaches its goals on the path to green, we at the Town of Sussex encourage everyone to mark these holidays with family and friends by taking advantage of some of the public green spaces and natural wonders our corner of the world offers us.

When the time is right, we look forward to being able to gather as a community once again without restrictions and to do what we do best….celebrate and showcase our community spirit!

With that said, mark your calendars for September 4th, 2021 when we plan to finally come together as a community and have some fun!
