PUBLIC NOTICE: PROPOSED ZONING BY-LAW AMENDMENT TO REZONE LAND AT OTTY AVENUE, BY-LAW 1350-24-05

In accordance with Section 111 of the Community Planning Act, SNB 2017, c.19 and amendments thereto, PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that Sussex intends to consider an amendment to By-law #1350-21, the “Sussex Zoning By-law,” to rezone the subject property located at Otty Avenue (P.I.D. Numbers 30364020, 30364038, 30364046,30364053, 30364111, 30364103, 3036095, 30364087, 30364079, 30364061, and a portion of 30364244) from One and Two Unit Residential (“R2”) to Small Lot One Unit Residential (“R1S”).

The Public Presentation to Council will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Sussex Town Hall.

The Planning Advisory Committee Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 4:30p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Sussex Town Hall

The Hearing of Objections and first readings will be held  on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Sussex Town Hall.

Written feedback, including objections or comments, on the proposed amendment for the Hearing of Objections will be received by the undersigned no later than December 11, 2025.
