Sussex Sports Zone Program!

Get ready for an action-packed summer with Sussex Sports Zone, our free outdoor drop-in program designed for active kids aged 5 to 12! This is the ultimate chance to run, play, and make new friends in a fun, structured setting . Weekly sessions start June 24 at the 8th Hussars Sports Centre and surrounding outdoor spaces.

Weekly Highlights:
• Tuesdays: Morning ball hockey (full gear required!) / Afternoon flag football & open gym
• Wednesdays: Volleyball or pickleball + open gym / Afternoon spikeball or disc golf + open gym
• Thursdays: Morning capture the flag or soccer baseball + open gym / Afternoon foam party & playground time

Plus bonus games like yard pong, hover soccer, wiffleball, and more!

Program Hours:
• Morning Session: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
• Afternoon Session: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
(Note: No Sports Zone Thursday afternoons)

Lunch Break Info:
This is not a full-time daycare program, and there is no staff supervision over lunch. Kids must go home at noon.
For families coming from rural areas, a supervised lunch option is available for $15/week. You can opt in during registration.

How to Register:
• Sign up at www.SussexatPlay.ca
• Register by the week and indicate which days your child will attend (full or half days)
• Lunch supervision can also be selected during registration. Pay at www.SussexatPlay.ca

Sports Zone Additional Information
The Sussex Sports Zone staff has my permission to use my or my child’s photograph publicly to promote the program. I understand that the images may be used in print publications, online publications, presentations, websites, and social media. I also understand that no royalty, fee or other compensation shall become payable to me by reason of such use.
I understand and acknowledge that the Town of Sussex Sports Zone Program requires a responsible guardian be available for the daily care of my child and that this person is immediately available to retrieve him/her as required.
I understand and acknowledge that the Town of Sussex is not responsible for an injury or accident during my child/children’s participation in the Sports Zone Program.
