The Kings Regional Service Commission Volunteer Expo is coming to Leonard’s Gate in Sussex on Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

This community-focused event will bring local organizations, volunteers and residents together in one place to celebrate the important role volunteers play throughout the community and to help connect new volunteers with opportunities that match their interests, skills and availability.

Residents are encouraged to stop by, meet representatives from local organizations, learn more about the work being done throughout the region, and hear directly from existing volunteers about their experiences.

Whether you are actively looking for a volunteer opportunity or simply curious about the many ways you can get involved, the Volunteer Expo is a great opportunity to explore what is available in your community.

Volunteering is a meaningful way to give back, meet new people, build connections, develop new skills and support the organizations and initiatives that help make our communities stronger.
