The Town Council of the Town of Sussex is considering an amendment to its Municipal Plan, By-law #750-20 which proposes to change the designation of the land bearing PID #00264994 and having civic address of 165 St George Street from Neighborhood Residential (“NR”) to General Commercial (“GC”).
The proposed amendments would allow for the rezoning of the property from a Single and Two-Family Residential Zone (“R2”) to a Business Residential Zone (“BR”) permitting a “microbrewery”, a “café”, a “deli”, a “private gym” and / or “office” .
The proposed by-law amendments may be inspected by interested citizens at the Office of the Clerk during working hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday at 524 Main Street, Sussex NB.
Written objections to the proposed Municipal Plan and Zoning By-Law Amendments will be received by the undersigned until 5:00pm Monday, August 16, 2021.
A Hearing of Objections of the proposed Municipal Plan By-law Amendment and proposed Zoning By-law Amendment will be held in the Council Chambers of the Town Office at 524 Main Street on Monday August 16, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. Any persons wishing to speak for or against these written objections may do so at this time.
